Fishing: Selmmuir plans all-new club for next year

THE decent run of weather has really got the fish feeding hard before the winter arrives at Selmmuir Fishery.
The biggest fish landed this month was a whopping 9.9lb monster caught by Gordon Craig while he also took the honour of biggest bag weight at 18.5lb.
The best flies over the past few weeks are Black Buzzers fished static, enticing fish to bite hard and then try to rip the line from your hand.
Also successful have been any Black Lure on a slow sink line or the Damsel Lure.
An all-new fishing club at Selmmuir is being planned for next year with anglers from any age group or ability very welcome.
