WEST Lothian Y-Cats took part in the Scotcheer II National Cheerleading Championships at Dundee and had a massive success.
Junior hip hop duets Jade McAdam and Joanne Kirk, who were taking part for the first ever time, came third in their event as did senior hip hop duets Jenna McWilliams and Amy Waddell.
Head coach Stacy McKerracher said: “The squad did themselves proud with some girls taking part in their first-ever competition.
“We had great success with the pee wees under-9s team coming home in third place with the under-16s juniors second and the seniors also getting second place.
“I would like to thank all the dancers for their hard work and also all the chaperones and the supporters.”
