WEST LOTHIAN could have two Taekwondo stars starring in the 2012 Olympics after both sailed through the opening round of trials.
Teenager martial artists Megan Murray and India Isles are both scheduled to head south to London and Manchester for the next round of Olympic trials on February 20 and March 6 respectively.
The success of the 17-year-old pair, who both train at Seafield Scotia TKD school, is even more impressive considering they do ITF style Taekwondo rather than the Olympic style.
Both will be hoping to impress at the next round of trials and seal a place flying the flag for Great Britain at the London games in two-years time.
Megan and India are also preparing to compete for Scotland at the forthcoming International Taekwon-Do Games.
These are to be held over three days at Meadowbank Stadium, Edinburgh.
Taekwondo experts from all over the world including America, Russia, Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia and South America will be in action while there will also be a special display by the Korean World demo team Champions.
