PAUL DI RESTA switched lanes this week from his Formula One supercar for a Merc as he took his place in the DTM frontline.
The Bathgate Bullet swapped his Force India test role for an assault on the German touring car championship in which he was second in 2008 and third last year.
And the 24-year-old did well to steer his car home in fourth spot on his return, although he wasn’t thrilled with the result.
He said: “I struggled with the Mercedes set-up throughout. But I scored some valuable points so I have to be happy”.
