Livingston CC lose out to league leaders on away day

LIVINGSTON Cricket Club suffered from travel sickness on Saturday as they fell to defeat on the road.

Livingston were in action after making the trip to Alloa to face Clackmannan CC in the East of Scotland Cricket League, Division Three.

The final score was Clackmannan 177 for four 4 after 36 overs to Livingston’s 175 all out after 50 overs.

Livingston batsman Faraz Ashghar managed an impressive 62 on his way to not out while Clackmannan’s top man was C Black who notched 77.

The result sees Clackmannan return to the top of the league table with Livingston a couple of places behind.
