“EVERYONE’S got a price,” is Ted DiBiase’s famous catchphrase but can the WWE legend use his wealth to buy West Lothian’s own Scottish School of Wrestling?
DiBiase, known as the Million Dollar Man, recently splashed the cash to buy out rival Scottish promoters SWE and is now rumoured to have set his sights on a takeover of the SSW later this year.
Sources close to DiBiase suggest he could be eyeing up a personal appearance in the West Lothian organisation as early as August.
Meanwhile, former SWE owner Brave Hart, who was attacked by Worlds Title belt holder Muzlem at the last show, is set to be in attendance this Friday, when SSW brings Wrestlewars to the Whitburn Legion — and a showdown between the pair is again expected.
Current SSW Champ Muzlem, who is also one half of SSW tag-team champs along with Effen Awesome, has promised to reveal the identity of the third and latest member of their growing faction.
The Worlds Title will be defended in arguably the most punishing and dangerous match when Muzlem puts the gold on the line against seven other grapplers in a War Zone bout.
The eight wrestlers will battle it out with eliminations allowed by pinfall, submission, knockout or propelling an opponent through a table. The winner will be the last man standing — literally.
Also confirmed for the bill is a six-man title shot, known as Money in the Bank, the prize for which is locked inside a briefcase suspended above the ring, and which can be cashed at any time in the coming year.
The winner of the match will be the wrestler who can set up and scale the ladder and retrieve the briefcase first.
But with five rivals to contest this will be no easy feat.
