BATHGATE Karate Club members clinched three trophies at the JKS World Shoto Budo Championships.
Coach Henry Higgins took second place at Kumite, while Anne Higgins took first at Kumite to keep her World Champion title.
Blair Stryke, 17, of Livingston took third spot in Kata 17-18 age group after being narrowly beaten by Italy and Ukraine.
His sister Ailsa, 18, was narrowly beaten into fourth in the same category. And 21-year-old Steven Kane made it into the last eight for the 19s and overs in Kata.
The 2nd JKS World Shoto Budo Karate Championships 2011 was held at The Royal Highland Show on Saturday, September 24 and Sunday 25.
Countries from all over the world took part in the event.
