PAUL DI RESTA hopes entering the unknown will work to his advantage as he prepares his team Force India's home grand prix.
With the Indian track being a new experience for each F1 driver, the Bathgate bullet hopes that will play to his advantage.
He said: "The layout looks interesting and the good thing for me is that it's a new track for everyone.
"There are still a lot of unknowns and question marks about the characteristics of the track. Getting up to speed will be key"
Di Resta has grabbed points in four of the last six races.
And he admits there is extra importance placed on his team's home grand prix in New Delhi.
He said: "Obviously each race is important because the same number of points are on offer, but there's no denying that a strong result in the team's home race would feel special for all of us"
