Ross County 1 Livingston 4

THE LIVI Lions ran rampant at the weekend with a 4-1 away win against Ross County.

Paul Hegarty’s first game in charge couldn’t have gone sweeter as goals from Murray Davidson, Leigh Griffiths, Rocco Quin and Calum Elliot sealed County’s fate.

A lacklustre County dominated most of the first quarter, but after a goal mouth scramble on 34 minutes, Davidson managed to slide the ball past the keeper leaving the home side 1-0 down.

Former Livi man Mark McCulloch equalised for County just before the break.

Into the second half, Livi came out all guns blazing as Griffith’s low cross was put away by Elliot on 47 minutes.

After 70 minutes things only got worse for County after a defensive mix-up allowed Griffiths to make it 3-1.

Quinn topped off Livi’s win with a sensational 25 yard strike late on.
