Livingston Supporters Trust call crucial meeting

LIVI FOR LIFE Supporters Trust have invited all Livingston FC fans to an open meeting.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Atrium, St Margaret’s Academy, on Sunday, April 5.

And the Trust are hoping for a really large turnout from Lions’ supporters for what is being described as a very important meeting.

The meeting, which has been arranged in the wake of rumours of financial problems at the club, is open to all fans of the club.

Livi For Life chairman Donald Paul said that he is appealing for a big turnout and added: “The Trust are fully committed to ensuring Livingston FC continues to compete under the auspices of the Scottish Football League and maintains its current role as a focal point for the local community in West Lothian.

“The current financial position of the club appears uncertain.

“We believe it is vital Livingston supporters, through the medium of the Trust, explore all alternatives should the situation become even more precarious for the club.”
