LIVINGSTON'S slim promotion hopes were finally ended following a disappointing home defeat against Dundee.

Livingston needed to win all their remaining league games and hope leaders St Johnstone collapsed in the run-in.

But despite St Johnstone losing on Sunday, Livi couldn't find a way past a determined Dundee defence.

Livi had the vast majority of the play but Darren Young's 60th minute goal was the decisive moment in the match.
