Hegarty suspended from Livi

LIVINGSTON have confirmed that manager Paul Hegarty has been suspended for the rest of the season, with former manager David Hay taking over for the remaining two fixtures.

A statement on the club website reads: "Livingston Football Club will be managed by David Hay for the final two games of the 2008/09 season, after the club suspended manager Paul Hegarty with immediate effect.

"Hay will assume control of the first team squad from Wednesday. His position as interim manager of the club will then be reviewed by the board in the summer, with a view to a possible permanent appointment."

Hay took Livi to CIS Cup glory in 2004 after his side beat Hibernian in the final 2-0.
