Lions chairman to meet fans tonight as anxiety grows
LIVINGSTON chairman Angelo Massone has invited all fans and friends of the club to a specially arranged meeting at the stadium tonight (Thursday).
The Italian has extended the invitation to all supporters and trust members and has pledged to give them the chance to grill him, board member Tomasso Angelini and staff at the meeting which takes place in the Almondvale Suite at 7pm. It comes on the back of further newspaper reports this week which claim Livingston have until the end of next month to pay their outstanding rent to West Lothian Council or face administration.
The Lions are reported to owe the local council around £130,000 in rent arrears and face a further demand of £150,000 for this season's rent, due to be paid this month.
But chairman Massone has rubbished the suggestions that the club is heading towards administration unless the debt is cleared by June 30.
All supporters are urged to attend and meet with the outspoken owner as fears grow about the future of the West Lothian club.
