Hay: I don't know yet if I'm to report for Livingston duty
DAVIE HAY admits he is still in the dark as to whether he will resume his caretaker manager duties when the Livingston first team report for pre-season training at the end of the month.
Hay stepped into the dugout for the second time for the final two games of the season after the suspension of Paul Hegarty.
Since then the futures of Hegarty and his assistant Graeme Robertson have still to be resolved with the Lions effectively managerless just a fortnight before pre-season.
But Hay reckons the club has bigger concerns at the moment than who will be in the managers office next season.
He said: “First of all I can’t say anything about whether I’d be back as boss as Paul is still only suspended and hasn’t been sacked.
“And Livingston have the bigger issue of where the club is going to sort out before they worry about anything else.
“It isn’t long until the players will be due back though and we are all aware time is ticking by but as things stand there is no definitive answer on the manager’s job.”
