The lights are back on at Livingston

THE lights were back on at Almondvale today after another day of turmoil for Livingston FC.

Scotish Power plunged the crisis stricken club into darkness yesterday after running up an alleged £32,000 bill.

The energy giants revealed they had tried repeatedly to have the bill settled forcing the drastic action which also left neighbouring Stadium House, where several charities are also based, without power.

But chairman Angelo Massone was insisting last night the whole thing was a stunt aimed at showing fans that he and his personal funds are solely responsible for keeping the club alive.

The Italian revealed his frustration at a fund raising appeal from the club brought in less than £150.
