Bollan relishes cup clash with Spiders

GARY BOLLAN admits a lengthy run in the Scottish Cup could help fuel Livingston’s Third Division title pursuit, as well as generate some cash for the clubs coffers.

The Lions manager leads his side to Hampden to face Queens Park in the Second Round on Saturday and he insists he won’t underestimate the Spiders.

He said: “The further you can go in the Cup, the more finance you can bring into the club which always help.

“But more than that, we want to go as far as we can in the competition. It would be great for the players, the fans and the club to draw a big SPL club but before we even think about that there's a long way to go and we have to get past Queens Park.

“Hampden Park is the perfect surroundings for a Scottish Cup tie. The facilities and playing surface are different class and should suit our preferred style of football as well.”
