Friendly match falls foul of weather

LIVINGSTON’S friendly match with the East of Scotland League under 23 select due to take place on Monday night was postponed due to the horrendous weather conditions the county experienced over the weekend.

After nearly 24 hours of incessant rain, the Almondvale pitch was waterlogged and unplayable.

An early decision was taken to call off the friendly and as yet no new date for the fixture has been announced.

Livingston’s next scheduled home game is now on November 14 when Albion Rovers visit West Lothian in a 12.30pm kick-off due to Scotland’s international friendly with Wales on the same day.
