Stranraer boss admits Livingston are too good for the Third Division

STRANRAER manager Keith Knox has admitted league leaders Livingston are too good for the Third Division.

He made his honest opinion after seeing his side well beaten at Almondvale on Saturday.

The Blues lost 3-0 and Knox reckons the Lions are a stick on for the title.

“I thought we were unlucky over the 90 minutes,” joked Knox.

“No seriously we realise we were playing against a team who are basically a First Division side. They are a full-time side and they move and pass the ball so well.

“We were well beaten and we have no excuses and I’m happy it was only 3-0. They are without a doubt the best team in the Third Division and it is unfortunate for the rest of the teams in the league.”
