New Livingston FC scheme will see senior players and boss meet with supporters on a weekly basis

LIVINGSTON fans will have the chance to personally grill Gary Bollan and the first-team stars after the club revealed details of a groundbreaking new initiative.

Every week a different first-team player, normally one who is suspended, injured or not in the match-day squad, will spend time with supporters in the Almondvale Suite before the match.

Then following the full-time whistle the manager or a player from the match will take some questions from the fans in the Almondvale.

Livingston FC Commercial Director Charles Burnett revealed to the Courier the scheme has been in the pipeline for some time and will begin this Saturday before and after the Montrose match.

He said: “We think it will add to the match-day experience for the supporters who will get the chance not only to meet the manager and players but also to ask questions.

“It will start on Saturday with Cammy MacDonald the first player to take part.

“He will be in the Almondvale Suite from about 1.30pm and after the match Gary Bollan will speak to supporters as well.”
