LIVINGSTON Football Club have announced a brand-new sponsorship deal which will see them reap the benefit of specialist machinery to help maintain the Almondvale surface.
And the deal will also see the North Stand sponsored until the end of next season.
The Lions have agreed a major new deal with West Lothian based company Alpha Plus.
A long standing corporate supporter of the club, Alpha Plus will sponsor the North Stand at Almondvale Stadium until the end of the 2010-11 season.
Based in Livingston for the last nineteen years, Alpha Plus provide services, equipment and support for the facilities maintenance industry.
They specialise in the areas of street cleansing, ground care, industrial cleaning, winter maintenance and waste management, and provide a one-stop shop for clients nationwide encompassing machinery sales, hire, service and parts.
As part of the new agreement, Alpha Plus will supply a range of specialist equipment and machinery to assist the club in maintaining the stadium complex and playing surface.
Steve Matthews, Managing Director of Alpha Plus said: “We’re very proud to be part of the community in West Lothian and have always been supportive of local organisations, like Livingston Football Club and the local rugby club.
“For us, this new sponsorship is an opportunity to make a statement and re-affirm our support for the football club which, in fact, goes back to the days when Jim Leishman was the manager of the side.
“Like ourselves, the club are in the midst of re-inventing themselves at the moment and we see this partnership with the West Lothian club as an ideal opportunity for both parties to come together and build for the future.”
Charles Burnett, Commercial Director of Livingston FC added: “Alpha Plus and Livingston go way back together, and we’re delighted to have renewed and strengthened our relationship with this new sponsorship.
“From our point of view we’re extremely pleased that a well known local company like Alpha Plus are happy to engage with us as we work to re-establish the club in the local community.”
