Livingston board thrilled at stunning season

THE Livingston FC board have moved quickly to congratulate the players and backroom staff for their title-winning campaign.

The club revealed to the Courier their delight at the achievements of the squad this week.

Livingston Chief Executive Ged Nixon said: “The board of directors would like to congratulate Gary Bollan, Scott Paterson, Brian Welsh and all of the players on a tremendous season culminating in securing the league title wins at both senior and youth team levels.

“After the well-publicised events of last year, to turn the fortunes of the club around, not only so quickly, but with style and flair, is particularly pleasing.

“The effort that has gone into achieving this success this year however does not just stop with the teams on the park.

“The combined effort of the, often unheralded, entire backroom staff as well the Livi for Life volunteer teams on match days cannot be overstated and the board offer a sincere thank you to all.

“To our commercial sponsors and supporters we again thank you for having faith and belief and hope that you join us as we strive to achieve again next season.”
