Livi summer coaching drawing big numbers
LIVINGSTON FC’s popular coaching in the community courses continued last week.
More than 60 football fledglings, boys and girls, aged between four and 13-years, pulled on their boots to enjoy sessions at Almondvale.
The community coaching sessions are also on tour this summer around West Lothian and are heading for Broxburn, Linlithgow and Uphall.
Leigh Robertson, Community co-ordinator, said: “We’ve been doing a lot of work in primary schools all over West Lothian with after-school clubs, which have been very popular.
“The success of these clubs has had a knock-on effect with our summer coaching and we are all delighted with the turnout.
“We would also like to make local boys’ clubs aware that we have the facility to welcome them to the stadium for training or we can visit with our coaches.”
