Gary Bollan rates Livi’s chances in County clash
LIVINGSTON boss Gary Bollan reckons his side have what it takes to derail Ross County's march towards promotion.
The high-flying Highlanders are six points clear at the top of the First Division table and on a seven-game winning streak in the league.
However, Livi were the last side to take points off County when the sides met in Dingwall in September and Bollan is confidence his side can upset the league leaders again.
He told the Courier: “Confidence is high in our camp after last weekend's win at Irvine and we will be looking to take three points from County this weekend.
“We're at home and we want to protect our good home record.
“We know that County are on a great run at the moment and have a lot of good players in their team. So they'll be hard to beat – but they'll feel the same way about us.”
Last time the two sides met, Richard Brittain's spot-kick cancelled out David Sinclair's opener.
And with County only narrowly steering their way past Livi in a 2-1 League Cup win last season, recent history suggests it will make for a close game
Bollan added: “They have a lot of good players and a very strong squad to pick from.
“They’ve plenty of experience but we have to win every game – and that’ll be the aim this weekend.”
Livi's hat-trick hero Marc McNulty remains doubtful after suffering an ankle injury during the Lions' 6-0 crushing of Irvine Meadow.
