Malley madness sells the jerseys

A MOMENT of madness from Fauldhouse’s Steven Malley cost his side three precious Premier League points as they were pegged back by Newtongrange on Saturday.

Fauldhouse were leading in the first half after a goal from the ever-dependable Andy Cooper before Stevie Thomson levelled for Star.

But then Malley inexplicably lost control and headbutted a rival player and was sent packing.

Newtongrange were awarded a penalty in the final minutes and Fauldhouse keeper Gary Malley followed his brother in for an early bath as he was sent off in the incident.

Thomson took and duly converted the spot-kick to seal the win and all three points.
