THE match of the day in the Super League is without a doubt the derby clash when Linlithgow Rose make the short journey to Newton Park to meet fierce rivals Bo’ness.
Tensions and passions always run extremely high in games between the sides.
And there is little doubt that Saturday’s game will be no exception to this rule with both county sides determined to take all three points which are at stake.
Linlithgow may have a manager in place before the kick off but if not then the coaching team led by experienced players will continue for the derby meeting.
In another Super League clash, strugglers Whitburn face a Lochee side who are only a couple of places above them in the table in what will be a crucial game for both.
With the Burnie coming into the match on the back of a morale boosting win, the game is a great opportunity for the West Lothian side to climb away from the leaguc danger zone.
However, Bathgate face a tough trip to Fife where they will play Kelty for their match.
Kelty suffered a set back with the defeat at Whitburn last week and will be looking to bounce back into the title race with a win against Paul Jack’s men.
In the Premier League, Fauldhouse have a home game against Kinnoull and this match will give the local side the chance to take all three points as they bid to lift themselves back up the table and to league safety.
In the South Division, Stoneyburn are at home to Harthill and the county side will be aiming to take advantage with a win while West Calder face Dunbar at home.
Livingston travel to face Dalkeith with a local derby between Broxburn and Pumpherston promising to be a real exciting clash for the fans.
In the other fixtures involving local sides, Blackburn are at home to Sauchie and finally leaders Armadale have a home game against Haddington when they hope to collect all three points.
