Silver Foxes take second spot

WELL done to Fauldhouse Foxes 98s who won second place in the Glenafton Athletic Juniors festival of football held in New Cumnock Ayrshire.

This was the first time the team competed in this tournament and to play seven games and get the runner-up trophy was a great achievement.

Fauldhouse Foxes were the only team representing West Lothian, the other 17 teams came from all around central Scotland.

The boys came second in their group and went on to knock out last year’s winners Syngenta Colts in the semi-final.

The Foxes winning run came to an end in the final, losing 2-0 to Moorlands a team from Uddingston — both teams showed great spirit and determination and fought to the very end.

A special mention for Fauldhouse goalkeeper Aiden McCann who was presented with the man of the match trophy for the final .

And a big thanks go to all the boys and the coaches Rab Wood and Calle who made a great day out for everyone possible.
