West Calder dip out as neighbours visit

WEST Calder rolled out the red and black carpet for Super League side Bathgate last weekend.
However, the South Division outfit lost 3-1 to their county neighbours in an entertaining pre-season clash.
It was the result everyone expected but the hosts showed up well against their higher ranked opponents.
Their goal came courtesy of a trialist while Brian McPhee, Jim Lister and Graeme McLaren grabbed the visitors’ goals.
It was another good, solid win for new Jags boss Graeme Love ahead of the new Super League season.
