DAVE BAIKIE admits his Emirates Junior Scottish Cup match preparations have been hampered by the wild Scottish weather.
The Linlithgow Rose boss will this weekend attempt to lead his side into Ayrshire for their scheduled fifth-round clash with Whitletts.
The match has already been postponed several times while Baikie himself has been unable to even get a look at his side’s opponent.
“We haven’t had a chance to have a look at them because all their games have been off but they haven’t seen us either,” explained Baikie.
“It is a big game for both sides and it is one we are all looking forward to.”
Weather permitting, Rose will meet Whitletts at Voluntary Park on Saturday at 2.30pm.
In the Superleague Whitburn are at Newtongrange just when they need a home game the most.
Newtongrange had a home game last week in front of a big crowd while Whitburn, who are struggling for cash, once again had their game postponed.
Both Fauldhouse and Armadale have home games in the Premier League this weekend.
Fauldhouse face Carnoustie while Armadale meet Kinnoull.
And in the South Division, West Calder play Dunbar at home while Harthill face the league leaders Tranent away.
Pumpherston are at home to Spartans with Broxburn at Dalkeith and second-placed Blackburn have a home game against Edinburgh.
There are also two matches in the East of Scotland Cup where Stoneyburn face a daunting task in the form of Superleague heavyweights Bathgate Thistle.
This match may be switched to Creamery Park but this was undecided at press time.
Finally, Livingston have a tester when Tayport visit.
