Rose romp to 6-1 friendly win over county neighbours

STUART McARTHUR netted a first-half hat-trick, including two from the penalty spot, as Linlithgow Rose hit county neighbours Armadale Thistle for six.

Stevie Manson added a fourth after the break before the Dale pulled a goal back.

Veteran striker Paddy Flannery rounded off a comfortable friendly win for Rose with the game’s final two goals to make it 6-1.
