Rose unveil new defender

LINLITHGOW ROSE have snapped up Motherwell defender Mario Quinn on a loan deal to take their summer signings to three.

Quinn joins Colin Strickland and Adam Nelson as boss Dave Baikie’s hat-trick of new faces in the Rose squad this season.

But former Linlithgow hero Brian Carrigan has joined the club’s fierce rivals and neighbours Bo’ness United in a blockbuster move.

Carrigan was a firm favourite in his two seasons at Prestonfield where he netted 66 goals, including a Super League-clinching hat-trick and a goal in the Junior Scottish Cup final.

But this season he will be lining up against the Rose after he agreed a deal with Bo’ness.
