SFA roadshow rolls into Linlithgow

THE SFA coaching roadshow rolled into Linlithgow again this week with more than 70 youngsters pulling on their boots under the watchful eye, and expert tuition of SFA coaches.

Linlithgow Sports Centre hosted the week-long roadshow from Monday, August 9, until Friday, August 13, giving the next generation of Scottish stars the chance to go through their paces.

The coaches took the footie fledglings through a series of fun but practical drills and exercises as well as small five and four-a-side team games.

And the week-long football fun, part of the Scottish FA and West Lothian Council Summer School Holiday programme, also unearthed a series of exciting young players from the county.

And the good news is that they have promised to be back the next time the SFA hosts a session in the town during the October break.
