Broxburn make second round of Scottish Junior Cup

BROXBURN booked their place in the second round of the Scottish Junior Cup.

Athletic snatched a 2-1 win over Hurlford United before being handed a home tie against Dalry.

But there was to be an early cup exit for Stoneyburn who lost 5-2 in their Junior Cup replay against Larkhall.

Harthill also lost out as they crashed to a 2-0 Port Glasgow defeat.

Meanwhile in the South Division Whitburn were held to a 1-1 draw with Falkirk.

Blackburn’s meeting with Haddington was called off due to a waterlogged pitch. West Calder and Pumpherston had their South Division clash postponed.
