WEST Calder footballer Cameron Stokes was invited to a special event at Hampden Park.
Cameron enjoyed a tour of the national stadium and a training session led by former Hibs and Celtic star John Collins as part of the Bank of Scotland Midnight League Player of the Year Day.
As someone who has shown maturity, respect to others, and adhered to the positive lifestyle habits displayed by the Scottish FA coaches, Cameron was chosen as the region's Player of the Year.
He was joined by 24 other teenagers from across Scotland who had won in their area.
Neil McKechnie, Bank of Scotland Livingston Almondvale branch said: “Congratulations to Cameron Stokes on being recognised as the region's Player of the Year.”
The Player of the Year Day formed part of this year's Bank of Scotland Midnight League programme which has been running since January at venues across all 32 Local Authorities in Scotland.
