Arthurlie versus Linlithgow Rose Scottish Junior Cup preview

Linlithgow Rose boss Mark Bradley admitted his disappointment at not getting to take on Arthurlie on Saturday.

The East Superleague heavy-weights were set to take on the East Renfrewshire outfit in the Scottish Junior Cup.

But adverse weather forced the match to be cancelled - sharing its fate with every other match featuring East Junior sides.

The Rose are in a great vein of form having notched up 13 wins in 14 league games.

And Bradley hopes the frozen week off won’t derail his side’s current form.

He said: “We’re on a great run right now and obviously we want as many games to go ahead as possible.

“It was disappointing that the game didn’t go ahead at Arthurlie, but it’s something that every team is having to deal with.

“We have access to training facilities so we haven’t been having any problems keeping the lads fit, but it’s frustrating when games are cancelled.”

Rose are due to travel to Arthurlie this weekend, weather permitting.
